The cast of the new production of Cats has been announced for its Paris run which opens at Théâtre Mogador on 2nd October.
The production will feature the changes made in the 2014 London Palladium run and will include a new song written by Andrew Lloyd Webber specifically for the French production. The new song will be sung in Italian and will be a similar style to that of an operatic aria. The rest of the musical will be performed in French.
Grizabella will be performed by Prisca Demarez, with the rest of the company comprised of Golan Yosef (Rum Tum Tugger), Pierre-Yves Duchesne (Old Deuteronomy), Cédric Chupin (Munkustrap), Nicolas Turconi (Macavity), Stoyan Zmarzlik (Mungojerrie), Sylvain Mathis (Skimbleshank), Grégory Gonel (Alonzo), Wim Van Den Driessche (Bustopher Jones), Lucas Radziejwski (Coricopat), Yoan Grojean (Bill Bailey), William Da Dilva Pedro (Mistoffelees, Pouncival), Axel Alvarez (Mistoffelees), Rachael Ward (Bombalurina), Oonagh Jacobs (Jemima), Emmanuelle Guélin (Victoria), Vanessa Cailhol (Rumpleteazer), Emmanuelle N’Zuzi (Demeter), Léonie Thoms (Jellylorum), Katharina Lochman (Jennyanydots, Gumbie), Alexandra Girard (Tantomile) and Fédérica Capra (Cassandra) with Fabrice Todaro, Pascale Bruderer, Virginie Perrier, Allessandro Ripamonti, Charlyne Ribul Conte, Denis Ayzin and Els Smekens as ensemble members.
