Finola Hughes started her career as a dancer with the Northern Ballet Company but after broadening her career has appeared in many television shows for choreographers such as Gillian Lynne, Norman Maen and Nigel Lythgoe.  Recently she appeared in Starburst, and in the Grace Kennedy series.  She has also appeared in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie on BBC television and in the film Clash of the Titans playing a principal dance role.  In 1980 she was chosen from 600 girls to represent Britain in an American television spectacular series.
