Skimbleshanks

Trevor’s  career has been like a multi-faceted diamond, embracing many shining,  diverse, artistic and theatrical mediums, After extensive training in ballroom, high, land, classical, tap and jazz dancing in his youth, Trevor joined the Queensland Ballet Company to eventually become Principal Dancer.  After this his career broadened into contemporary dance whilst a member and soloist of the much-acclaimed Sydney Dance Company. then he became a founding member and Co-Artistic Director of Dance North, formerly the North Queensland Ballet Company.  Trevor has acted in three international movies, choreographed and danced in television shows, appeared in commercials and entertained with his own club act.  His musical roles started with the spectacular Australian production of La Cage aux Folles.  His credits also include being a teacher and Artistic Director of Performing Arts at Australia’s only theatrical high school, The McDonald College in Sydney, before going overseas to become Principal Dancer and Ballet Master for the famous Evrythmos Dance Company of Greece.  Having returned to Australia recently, Trevor danced in the awesome production of Aida in Sydney before taking up his current role as Skimbleshanks in this production of Cats.
