Alonzo

Matthew was introduced to musical theatre when at the age of eleven he performed in the Melbourne season of Vita.  Having previously spent four years singing with St Paul’s Cathedral Choir he decided to pursue a career in the performing arts.  He attended the Victorian College of the Arts School of Dance for four years before leaving to train under Mr John Byrne in Sydney.  He has since studied at The Australian Ballet School, graduating in 1988 and recently danced in The Australian Opera’s Sydney season of The Merry Widow.  Matthew is keenly interested in music, choreography and many facets of theatre and hopes to work and travel abroad.
