Originally from New Zealand, Dario began a musical career playing the violin at the age of four and continued his studies for twelve years.  After that time he took a keen interest in theatre, performing in shows such as Joseph and His Amazing -Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Boyfriend and Godspell.  Dario’s dance training consists of six years’ competitive ballroom/Latin American dancing in which he gained numerous New Zealand regional and national titles. the highlight being an Australian Intermediate Latin American title.  Dario began his professional theatre career as dance captain for the New Zealand tour of Pirates of Penzance.  He then moved to Australia and performed in the Sydney and Adelaide seasons of My Fair Lady.  He also performed in the Danny La Rue Show before joining the Cats company.  This is Dario’s first major professional role.
