Mistoffelees

Billy kicked off with a Highland fling at the age of four, then followed training in Irish, classical, tap and jazz dance.  In 1978 he became an inaugural member of the Australian Youth Ballet Company.  He toured to London.  Stirling and Aberdeen with the company in 1980 and played a newsboy in Q.T.C.’s production of Gypsy that same year.  In 1985 he was accepted into The Australian Ballet School.  He performed principal roles with the Dancers Company and in his graduation from the school in 1987.  Billy joined the Melbourne cast of Cats in 1988 and played the role of Mr Mistoffelees for the last five months of its season.  He has just finished dancing with The Australian Ballet Company in their Sydney season of The Three Musketeers.  Billy is currently Dance Captain for the 1989 production of Cats.
