The new Italian-language production of Cats had its opening night at the Teatro Sistina in Rome on Wednesday 28th October.

Guests including the Italian Home Secretary attended, with the show receiving thunderous applause.

The audience, including representatives from the Really Useful Group, were enthralled by the new costumes by Enrico Coveri, coreography from Daniel Ezralow, and new direction by Ezralow and Saverio Marconi.

Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera pinpointed Compagnia della Rancia’s Cats as “the musical of the year”.
